Peaceful afternoon
I remember exactly how I felt this day strolling along the beach and then sitting and just taking in this beautiful afternoon. The sun was a soft glow above the hills and the reflections touched the water and sparkled in the ripples. I really didn’t want the day to end. It’s one of my favourite spots, so reliving the experience whilst painting this piece was a pleasure!
I enjoyed trying a slightly different approach, and the colours are a bit different for me, but I think it worked nicely.
