Oranges a plenty
I was pleased to find some interesting shapes and colours to work on this still life. I love seeing complementary colours working well together, the blues and greens just made these bright oranges pop! I truly felt like eating some whilst painting away – well they are so delicious in the winter time!! I made the effort to keep my brushstrokes broad with the hope of encouraging spontaneity and a freshness! A sweet little lime green teacup on the side helped with the balance of colours.
